Karyn Salvatore Petersen

        Conscious Living Wellness Center owner, Karyn Salvatore Petersen is a State licensed  massage Therapist and Exercise Physiologist and has been in practice for 28 years. Karyn started her career in cardiac rehabilitation, managed corporate fitness training programs, and was employed as an adjunct professor of movement science at William Paterson University. She has developed a unique technique which combines medical, holistic, and intuitive therapies called, "Comprehensive Interactive Bodywork." This unique modality is an individual approach to wellness, allowing each client to access their own healing ability. Karyn's experience and expertise in mind/body therapies offers each client an individual approach to healing. She has authored a meditation practice for children called, "Virtuous Child" and is in the process of writing her first book. Karyn has completed 5 marathons, many half marathons, cycling races and has a regular meditation practice. She is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association. 

Richard Girolami

Richard is a bodyworker, acupuncturist, anatomist and a yogi, and brings an infectious positivity to his work and clients. He has been studying and working with the human body for more that 20 years, training in many forms of bodywork, movement, healing, and meditation. He received his Bachelor degree in kinesiology and wellness from Arizona State University and a Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

This intense form of structural therapy has been extremely effective in addressing imbalances and creating a lighter more free human form.  Client and practitioner work together using breath, deep structural bodywork and TCM principles to identify and release difficult areas.
